Rasheedah’s book was very insightful. I agree 100% that after reading this book and chapter one in particular, it makes you more loving! The effect is immediate! The book is easy to read, always references the scriptures, and I always enjoy a good testimony story on how God impacts and intervenes in our lives. This book should be part of your journey if you want to gain a better understanding of what the covenant of marriage under God is. “The Holy Covenant of marriage” is about marriage based on biblical principles, drawing on the author's lived experience in her marriage and divorce. The fascinating thing about this book is that if a young person follows these biblical teachings before getting married, that marriage will stand on a rock, which is the Lord Jesus Christ. Additionally, this book showed how the author trusted God during her divorce, relocation, job search, and other obstacles she overcame. At this point, she was vulnerable, without her standing on the promises of God, somebody would have taken advantage of her. Based on the above few points highlighted about this book, as well as lifesaving lessons you will discover as you read this book. I highly recommend that anyone, regardless of age, planning to get married, should read this book.
